Volta90 - Cookie policy

This policy describes what volta90.trade and, where stated, the App store in the browser. It is to be read with the Privacy policy. In the event of inconsistency, the Privacy policy prevails on questions of personal data, and the Terms of Use prevail on use of the Protocol.

1. What is stored today

The Website sets a first-party cookie, volta_locale, to remember whether the Surfaces should be shown in English or French. It lasts up to one year. It is not an advertising cookie.

On a first visit, the Website may also infer a country from the network request in order to suggest French (today: FR and BE). That is a locale choice, not a tracking profile. After that, the cookie is what the site follows.

A first-party cookie, volta_consent, stores whether the visitor accepted optional measurement (all) or kept necessary storage only (necessary). It lasts up to one year. It is how we remember the banner choice.

If a Participant signs the Terms in the App, a copy of that acceptance may be stored in the App’s local storage for the relevant wallet. That local copy is not a cookie. Volta90’s record of the signature is kept separately, as described in the Privacy policy.

The Participant may use the browser’s own controls to see, block, and delete cookies and local storage for these origins.

2. Measurement

Optional measurement runs only after Accept on the banner (or the same choice on this page).

• App. Umami Cloud, for page views, events, referrer, and device. It is not an advertising pixel. Heatmaps and session replay are not enabled.
• Website. Google Tag Manager, which may set its own cookies or similar storage.

Necessary only keeps language and the consent cookie. It does not load Umami or the tag manager.

3. The banner

A banner is shown until a choice is stored. There is no pre-ticked acceptance. You can change the choice on this page.
