Volta90 - Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This policy describes how Volta90, the team that operates the Volta90 surfaces (“Volta90”, “we”, “us”), processes information in connection with volta90.trade (the “Website”), app.volta90.trade (the “App”), docs.volta90.trade, and related Volta90 surfaces (together, the “Surfaces”).
It supplements Section 11 of the Terms of Use. Protocol participation remains governed by the Terms. This page describes off-chain collection as it is operated today. Where this policy and Section 11 differ on current collection, this page is the description of what we actually keep.
Questions: hello@volta90.trade.
This policy does not apply to public blockchains or to third-party protocols (including Ethereum, Lagoon, Hyperliquid, and Morpho), which Volta90 does not control.
1. Who we are
Volta90 operates a directional on-chain strategy through smart contracts on Ethereum mainnet. We do not take fiat deposits and we do not hold Participants’ private keys.
We do not collect civil identity, Know Your Customer documents, or an account file in a conventional sense. Participants interact through wallets they control.
2. What we collect today
We keep a small operational record, not a marketing profile:
- Terms acceptances. When a Participant signs the Terms in the App, we store the public wallet address, the Terms version, the document hash, the signed message, the signature, and the timestamp. That record is how we evidence which wallet accepted which version, and how we can ask for a new signature if the version changes.
- Whitelist status. Approved wallets and related access-control state, so the App can tell whether a wallet may deposit.
- Language preference. A first-party cookie (
volta_locale) remembers English or French. On a first visit, we may infer a country from the network request (typically an edge header derived from IP) solely to suggest French for FR/BE, or otherwise useAccept-Language. That inference is for locale, not for advertising. - Correspondence. If you write to hello@volta90.trade or contact us on a channel we operate, we see the content of that message.
- Hosting logs. The Surfaces are hosted on a third-party platform. Serving a page involves a network request. The host may retain ordinary technical logs.
- Consent choice. A first-party cookie (
volta_consent) stores whether the visitor accepted optional measurement or kept necessary storage only.
The App loads Umami Cloud (cloud.umami.is) to measure page views, events, referrer, device, and approximate location, only after the visitor accepts optional measurement. Umami does not set a first-party analytics cookie. The data is processed by Umami Software, Inc. We do not currently load session replay or heatmap recording on the App.
The Website loads a third-party tag manager (Google Tag Manager) only after the same acceptance. That tag manager may set its own cookies or similar storage. Until then it is not loaded.
3. Terms signatures
The signed Terms message is our record of acceptance. Clearing the browser does not erase it. A signature given for an earlier version does not bind the Participant to a later version; the App will ask for a new signature when the version changes.
4. Wallets and on-chain data
A public wallet address used in the App is processed in the browser so the App can display balances and submit transactions the Participant approves. Independently, the address and resulting transactions are public on the blockchain. Volta90 does not create those records and cannot alter or delete them.
Connecting a wallet is handled by a third-party connection modal. That provider processes what such a modal ordinarily processes. That is not a Volta90 account system.
5. What we do not collect
We will never request a seed phrase or a private key.
We do not currently collect names, dates of birth, government identity documents, email addresses as a product registration, telephone numbers, residential addresses, or source of funds. We do not currently operate identity verification or wallet screening as a product feature.
If applicable law or a counterparty later requires verification, we may condition access on those procedures. That is not the present product.
6. Cookies and similar storage
See the Cookie policy. In short: we set a language cookie and a consent cookie; the App may cache a Terms-acceptance reminder in local storage; Umami (App) and the Website tag manager load only if the visitor accepts optional measurement. A banner asks for that choice on first visit.
7. Retention
Terms acceptances and whitelist records are kept for as long as they are needed to operate access and to evidence the relevant Terms version, and for as long as a legal obligation requires.
The language cookie lasts up to one year, or until the Participant clears it. The consent cookie lasts up to one year, or until it is replaced by a new choice.
Correspondence is kept so far as we still hold it.
On-chain data is outside our control.
8. Place of processing
Hosting of the Surfaces may take place in several jurisdictions. App measurement data is processed by Umami Cloud. On-chain data is processed on public networks independently of Volta90.
9. Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of whether we hold a Terms acceptance or other information relating to a given wallet or correspondence, a copy of what we are able to identify, and erasure of correspondence so far as we still hold it. Erasure of a Terms acceptance may be refused so far as we need it as evidence of the agreement.
These rights cannot be used to alter a public blockchain. Requests: hello@volta90.trade.
10. Changes
We may amend this policy. The current version is the version published on the Website. Where a change is material, we will endeavour to give notice on the Surfaces.
